With 26 points, 21 scored goals, and only 2 conceded goals in 10 games, Atletico is at the top of the table. Earlier this week Atletico was playing against Salzburg on the road in the Champions League, and they were not allowed to lose in this game. Atletico was defending well, and they were able to score 2 goals as well. Atletico Madrid has won this game 0-2. Suarez and Felix are both in good form, and each of them has scored 5 goals for Atletico so far, while Llorente added 4 goals. Angel Correa has added 4 assists. Costa and Gimenez are injured, while Sanchez is still questionable for this game. In their latest LaLiga game, Atletico Madrid was playing against Valladolid at home, and they were the dominant team with 53% of ball possession, 4 shots on goal, 4 corner kicks, 2 big chances created, and a solid 82% of the correct passes. With 2 scored goals in the second half, Atletico has won this game 2-0. I can honestly say for the first time that I like the way Atletico is playing, and I hope they can stay at the top and even win LaLiga.

 

When playing at home, Real Madrid has not lost to Atletico Madrid in their last 5 games, while Atletico hasn’t lost any of their last 4 games on the road. I expect this to be a rough game with a lot of fouls, and betting on cards is a viable option here. I think Atletico deserves a look here because if they don’t beat them in this game, they will never beat them. I’m taking Atletico Madrid.
